Thomas Frank - CEO and Founder
A world class executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience building top tier global companies in the technology, marketing and entertainment sectors including Procter & Gamble, Dick Clark Productions, RealNetworks and CinemaNow. Tom is very accomplished at starting new ventures and growing profitable enterprises. Tom began his career launching the first integrated content advertising models for syndicated television at P&G. He went on to create and Executive Produce hours of network television (including branded content from the world’s largest advertisers) before migrating to the digital media world. As Chief Operating Officer at Real, Tom scaled the company from 200 to 2,000 heads and expanded the consumer businesses globally while launching the first content subscription business on the internet. Tom has demonstrated vision and innovation in general management, strategic planning and creative development, making him a much sought after advisor for many companies in the emerging media area.
Ted Leis - CTO and Founder
Ted has over 28 years of technology experience in architecture design of complex hardware and software systems. He has a diverse background originating from the Video Game industry to leading a successful consulting organization. As part of the founding team at Syzygy Game Company, he developed the software platform for a new video gaming market. He then founded Resultant Engineering where he designed and architected a state-of-the-art computer and operating system for a commercial RF controller. A lengthy tenure at Stanford Particle Accelerator Center further enhanced his technology skill set. Over the past 14 years Ted has led a successful consulting business sharing his expertise throughout the Silicon Valley. He has provided guidance for many start-ups and has been on the executive board of companies for over 20 years.
Peter T. Chantel, CFO
Mr. Chantel’s finance & operations career spans over 20 years building successful organizations including Colony Capital, AT&T and (Sony) Signatures. As VP of Finance - AT&T Local, Mr. Chantel built a $190M region by launching new local-service offices throughout the South. As CFO of Signatures, Chantel structured & executed the acquisition of Signatures’ main competitor, Winterland Merchandising, and the successful management buy-out from Sony and CMGI. In 2001, Mr. Chantel led a launch of new Celebrity Sites division at Signatures, starting one of the first online monetization models for music fan clubs, VIP ticketing and online stores - grossing $20M in first 12 months of operations. He has also served as the CFO for video platform provider Akimbo Systems later renamed OnVideon.

Michael Pliner
Dr. Pliner has 39 years experience as an entrepreneur and technology company executive, and has started, financed, and built many successful high technology businesses including Verity and Sytek. Currently Dr. Pliner is a consulting entrepreneur serving on the Boards or advisory Boards of several technology companies.
Goetz Weber
Goetz Weber is currently doubleTwist's COO and responsible for strategic planning, and day to day business operations. Prior to doubleTwist, Goetz was the co-founder and CEO of inDplay.com – a b2b multiplatform video content marketplace, angel funded by Eric Schmidt, William Hearst III and Shai Agassi. inDplay was sold to Ascent Media in February 2008. Prior to inDplay, Goetz held senior positions in strategic business development, product development, and innovation management at SAP AG in Germany and at SAP Labs in Palo Alto. He has worked on a number of leading SAP initiatives, including business strategy for the SAP-Microsoft collaboration, and several new composite application product launches spanning the financial services and manufacturing industries. He holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics, an MBA, and has authored physics publications and patents.
Lew Solomon
Mr. Solomon’s career history has included being Executive Vice President of Patricof Co., an international venture fund with over $1 billion in committed or invested capital. While at Patricof Mr. Solomon was the lead investor in many successful venture deals in the U.S. and was also active in the firms European investments. Mr. Solomon joined Patricof after a 14-year career at General Instrument Corporation. At the time of his departure from General Instrument, Mr. Solomon was a Corporate Officer, Senior Vice President and Assistant to the CEO and also held a seat on the Company's Operating Committee.
